Mersey Wave Music is a full member of the national voluntary music organisation ‘Making Music’ which supports and champions amateur musicians and music groups.
Making Music is the UK’s number one organisation for voluntary music. We thrive on encouraging all kinds of voluntary music groups – bands, festivals, orchestras, music clubs, choirs – and individuals, to be part of our vibrant multi-cultural music scene.
Our priorities include helping our membership flourish, lobbying on behalf of our members and the wider voluntary music making community, and encouraging participation in music as a means to enhance personal and community well-being.
