After a very successful series of summer concerts, the choir had a break during August. This gave our MD a chance to plan out the repertoire and sheet music orders for September-December. This was then packed into folders for all members by a team of dedicated volunteers ready for the new season to begin. We start by looking at some ambitious opera choruses in preparation for our second collaboration with Runcorn Community Choir and L’Orchestra Dell’arte this time performing on the 12th October at Chester Cathedral. After that it will be all about our Christmas engagements. We now also welcome our treasurer Carla Hay stepping up to fill a dual role as now deputy MD as she took her first full rehearsal as our principal MD was working away for a few days on a production music project.
