Starting in March 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, members of the Mersey wave Choir, Runcorn Community choir and Georgian Singers began rehearsing and recordings music online and at home. They were soon joined by other friends and family and were able to produce virtual choir videos that began to gain an audience on YouTube.
Towards the end of 2020 these recordings are being produced to an increasingly high quality and a full-length Christmas concert celebrating the best of our experience continuing to make music in some very unusual circumstances.
The Mersey Wave virtual choir released their first album for Christmas 2020.
The virtual choir continued to make music through the first half of 2021 until the groups were able to meet in person. Plans to continue recording together are in place so if you would like to join us virtually please do get in touch!
