The Fron Male Voice Choir in collaboration with Mersey Wave Music present a very special Valentine’s Day Concert in Liverpool. Join us at 7.30pm on Friday 14th February 2014 at St Ambrose Church, Speke, Liverpool to celebrate Valentine’s Day with ‘The Voices of the Valley.’
The evening will include performances from The Fron Male Voice Choir, Kathryn Rudge (Mezzo-Soprano) and The Mersey Wave Choir. Featuring beautiful music from the world of opera and musical theatre with traditional songs of love.
The Fron Male Voice Choir (full name Froncysyllte Male Voice Choir) was formed in 1947 to compete at the first Llangollen International Musical Eisteddfod. Its 60 original members were drawn from the village of Fron. In 2006 the Fron Choir signed a major recording contract with Universal Music and released four “Voices of the Valley” CD’s and the “Voices of the Valley – Live” DVD. Their first release, Voices of the Valley, went Gold a week after its launch.
67 years after its formation the choir is still going strong and has established itself internationally as one of the most distinguished Male Voice Choirs in a nation renowned throughout the World for producing Male Voice Choirs of the highest quality.
