Membership to the Mersey Wave Choirs is open to anyone – there is no audition and no previous experience of singing or music is required. Learn the music at your own pace in a relaxed and friendly environment. Weekly rehearsals take place on Tuesday (Men) Wednesday (Ladies) evenings in Hale Village.
Wellington Male Voice Choir was formed in 2011 with the generous support of the Freeman of Hale. They rehearse every Tuesday evening at 8pm in Hale Village.
The Ladies choir was formed in 2013 and rehearse every Wednesday evening at 7pm in Hale Village.
Both groups frequently practise together as a mixed voice choir. Members are currently from the community of Hale and surrounding areas with a passion for singing and performing music. Subscription to the choir is currently £10 per month. Please come along to any of our practises or contact us to arrange a visit.
If you would like to be part of these new and vibrant groups, no previous experience of singing is choirs in required, and many new members enjoy learning the skills required within this relaxed and enjoyable weekly practise sessions.
