The next Mersey Wave Music event is our annual summer concert at St Ambrose Church, Speke. This year’s concert will commemorate the Centenary of World War One through beautiful songs from the era, literature and memorabilia stalls. Also, keep your ‘flags at the ready’ for a spectacular Proms finale including ‘Rule Britannia’ and ‘Land of Hope and Glory!’ During the evening there will be performances by Mersey Wave Choir and the Mersey Wave Youth Singers, Jason Ellis (musical director), Kathryn Rudge (mezzo-soprano) and Owen Roberts (piano and organ.) We are delighted to be supporting the Speke Youth Fund and Liverpool Pals Memorial Fund during this concert.
